ATHLETIC SPECIAL EVENTS

 RADFORD UNIVERSITY SOFTBALL CLINIC This camp is being instructed by the Radford University Softball Team, and their head coach from Christiansburg, Hope Creasy. They will be teaching you the fundamentals of softball. This should be quality instruction from a quality NCAA Division I program. Please bring any equipment that you may need. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees Dec. 2 – Jan. 24 Ages 5-13 Sunday, Jan. 26 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Recreation Center Free  NERFING IN THE NEW YEAR NERF CHALLENGE This event is another introductory event. Participants will sign up individually and will be split up the day of event into teams of 5. Each division will have a 2 hour time slot to play. We will have an 8-10, 11-13, and a 14-18 division. The 8-10 division begins at 10 a.m.. 11-13 begins at 11:30 a.m. The 14-18 division begins at 1 p.m. If there aren’t enough in either division, we will combine everybody. You will be allowed to bring your own nerf blasters as long as they can project the blue nerf elite darts, subject to be checked. We will have some available for use, if you don’t have one. We hope this will allow us to grow the program. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees Nov. 4 – Dec.27 Ages 8-18 December 30 10 a.m. Recreation Center $5.00 per participant  RADFORD UNIVERSITY MEN’S BASKETBALL CLINIC This camp is instructed by the Radford University Men’s Basketball team and coaches. They will be instructing all participants on the fundamentals of the game of basketball from dribbling to shooting to defense. This is quality in- struction of a solid Division I program.
