And the Elder Berries had regular times of day trips and fellowship.

Who we are today was formed at our parents ’ knees, and complemented at Westminster through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

And our young folks needed their fellowship and fun too, as a unique group called the “ Unfrozen Chosen ” had gatherings of creativity and fun.

For more than one missions conference, a “ mountain of a man ” named Web Carroll, spoke to us at Westminster, of his love for Uganda and its people, of his amazement

of how much we have in America, in comparison to other parts of the world. You may remember that Web was always flabbergasted that we Americans needed an entire aisle in the grocery store devoted to potato chips.

Beginning in 1993, with a motley crew of five, our own Dr. Bill Harden answered a distinct call from God to begin a world outreach, along with Jeff Chadwick, Jim Thomason, Buddy Parker, and Wayne Pelts. And in the basement of the Canada House, supplies for something new began to be obtained.

Westminster Medical Missions – it would combine the love for the children and the people of Uganda and provide medical care like they would never have received otherwise. Dr. Harden has led 35 different teams to minister in Africa.
