Flank Steak Prep time Grill time Ready in Serves 2-4 hrs 10 min 5 hrs. 6

ingredients 1 flank steak (trim fat...oxymoron?) /3 cup of soy sauce 1/3 cup of red cooking wine 2 Tablespoons of oil 3/4 teaspoon of dry mustard 2 cloves of garlic cut fine (or pressed) 4 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar 1 small onion chopped 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper Marinate 2 to 4 hours

directions 1. Trim fat off flank steak. 2. Combine ingredients to create marinade. 3. Place marinade in container or plastic bag and place trimmed flank steak inside. 4. Mainade flank steak 2-4 hours. 5. Grill, and you're done!

Mary: Served in thin slices, sliced on an angle...usually served with au gratin potatoes. Delicious! Best when cooked on a grill inside or out...a rare time when John would be grillmaster!
