Maple-pecan Chicken Prep time Cook time Ready in Serves 10 15-20 30 min. 4
ingredients 1 ½ to 2 lbs. of chicken tenders Salt and ground black pepper 1 cup of all-purpose flour 2 eggs, beaten with a splash of water 1 ¼ cup of plain bread crumbs 1 ¼ cup of finely chopped pecans
directions 1. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Set aside. Preheat oven to 400F 2. Set out three shallow dishes. Place flour with a pinch of salt and pepper in one dish. Beat eggs with water in a second. Combine bread crumbs with pecans, nutmeg, and orange zest in the third. Coat tenders in flour, then egg, then bread crumb mixture, and place onto baking sheet. 3. Bake for 15-20 min. until chicken is cooked-through. 4. While chicken is baking, combine maple syrup, barbe- cue sauce, and orange juice in a bowl. WhIsk in oil. Plate chicken and drizzle the dressing overtop. Enjoy!
