What began as a simple basement addition transformed into a one of-a-kind modern industrial lounge, bringing a client’s vision to life with creativity and craftsmanship. Initially imagined as a bar-ready basement space, the project evolved into a concealed speakeasy-inspired retreat that’s as functional as it is unique. The transformation was

set in motion by the installation of a two-part door system, hidden behind a custom-built pottery shelf. This concealed entry adds a sense of mystery, revealing a dramatic 300-square-foot lounge featuring a wet bar, custom-built shelving, metallic epoxy flooring, and trimless finishes. Adding to the charm, the attached bathroom includes a freestanding wine barrel sink, a sleek black ceramic toilet, and a motion-activated urinal. These elements perfectly complement the room’s modern industrial theme.
