Project Description

This project continues and expands funding for the Blacksburg Spark Downtown Façade Improvement Program, which offers matching grants of up to $20,000 to support businesses and property owners in enhancing the downtown streetscape. Eligible improvements include fresh paint, updated signage, improved lighting, and other exterior upgrades that strengthen the appearance, character, and vibrancy of downtown. Expanding the program will enable more property owners to participate, further supporting private investment, attracting visitors, and contributing to a welcoming and visually appealing community.
