SOLID WASTE FUND The Solid Waste Fund is a self-supporting enterprise fund that accounts for all financial activity related to municipal solid waste disposal and recycling. Revenue is derived primarily from user charges.

Solid Waste Fund FY 2027-FY 2031

Operations and maintenance expenditures are projected to increase 3% annually. Expenditures are primarily tied to contractual services for solid waste collection and disposal. The Town contracts with a private hauler for landfill disposal and collection of recyclable materials. If contract or disposal costs increase during the five-year period, solid waste fees may need to be adjusted.
