This project will upgrade the pumping station by providing an all-weather enclosure around the booster pump station, replacing the existing booster pumps, installation of a much larger above ground hydr o pneumatic tank, and updating the system controls with a modern PLC based logic controller to improve system reliability.

Operating Impact

The upgraded pump station will reduce time spent by Public Works staff on emergency callouts and the administrative efforts by EGIS staff to issue Boil Water Advisories and respond to citizen concerns regarding the associated health risks.
