South Point Community Park Build-Out

Project Description

Based on the Master Plan, this project will build-out the community park area of the South Point Park. Creating eight acres of community space with a walking trail, five picnic shelters, flat common lawn play space and a south-end dog park will finish the park project. This will be a showcase park for residents south of the U.S. Route 460 Bypass and will eventually connect to the Huckleberry Trail. Other South Point Park projects currently in progress include the construction of a restoom and playground. Since 2024, 150 parking spaces were completed.
