Dear Mayor and Members of Town Council:

We are pleased to submit the Recommended FY 2027 Budget for the period beginning July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 for your review and consideration. This budget was prepared by town staff and serves as the Town's financial plan for the upcoming fiscal year, providing the resources needed to support the high-quality services and initiatives the Blacksburg community has come to expect. Its development is guided by Town Council's Strategic Goals and the Town's Principles of Sound Financial Management. The Recommended FY 2027 Budget for all funds totals $125,655,488.
