The Community Foundation of the New River Valley Annual Report 2024-2025
FUND SPOTLIGHT The Stewards of Nature Fund Created in late 2024 by an anonymous donor, the Stewards of Nature Fund is already making an impact. The fund supports the conservation of natural resources and wildlife, environmental health and stewardship, and conservation education. This addition to the CFNRV portfolio will greatly increase our grantmaking to environmental causes both in the New River Valley and outside our region. Already the Stewards of Nature Fund has provided support to the New River Land Trust for new trail construction and trail maintenance in Brush Mountain Park.
