Jim Simmons Jim Simmons has been the care and outreach pastor at Johnston Chapel Baptist Church since 1999. Alysia Townsley Alysia Townsley is a senior attending Bluefield University. She is pursu ing a Forensic Science major and Chemistry minor and will graduate in Brian Tracey is the executive director of the Bluefield Arts and Revital ization Corporation, which has as its purpose using the arts to create op portunities for entertainment, employment, and education in downtown Bluefield, West Virginia. Jess Wells Jess Wells is a Graphic Communication major at Bluefield University. Ray Whitaker Ray Whitaker, who has been writing both prose and poetry since he was 17, has three books published, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: POEMS FROM THE â€™NAM [2015]; 23, 18 [2016] ; and FOR THE LOST AND LOVED, [2021]. Carrie Rae Wiser Carrie Rae Wiser is a recovering attorney, once skilled in the art of nego tiating with the likes of terrorists. She now finds herself hostage to four young homeschooled children until her husband returns home from work each day to rescue her. This Hampton Roads, Virginia native prefers Crayola-inspired writing instruments, a welcoming kitchen with a well stocked fridge, and is particularly grateful for fresh air and wide-open spaces.
