BOMB THREATS/FALSE FIRE ALARMS (JFC-R)
A. Definition: Any communication to another by any means of a threat to bomb, burn, destroy, or damage school property, and/or buses, set and/or report false fire alarms, or give false information. B. General: Students who threaten to bomb or damage school property and/or buses, set and/or report false fire alarms, possess or ignite smoke bombs and/or explosives, or who give false information concerning it are subject to suspension from school or recommended for expulsion. The student may also be subject to criminal prosecution. (JFC-R) C. Disposition: (see table below)
