The Office of Student Development is the primary advocate for traditional and online students. It is the initial point of contact for nearly all problems related to students and student issues. If you have a problem, question, or concern and are uncertain where to start, the Office of Student Development is a good place to begin.

The goal of the Office of Student Development is to complement the academic mission of the College and enhance the over-all educational experience. Support & Resources Bluefield College Online Programs and Services is a solid expression of Bluefield College’s commitment to providing comprehensive services for the non-traditional undergraduate student. Regardless if you have been out of school for several years, or if this is your first college semester, we want you to feel comfortable utilizing the campus resources that complement your academic, personal and career goals. We know this is a very exciting time and that it can also be a stressful time, too. Balancing life, work and school can be challenging, but it is definitely worth it. Remember that the Office of Student Development can assist in directing you through your educational journey by helping map your resources. Most important, remember that we are here for you and want you to be successful in all of your educational pursuits. * General Policy for Students Attending Classes NOT on the Main Campus in Bluefield is published at the beginning of this handbook.
