CHRISTIANSBURG FARMERS MARKET Dates/Times: Thursdays May 18-October 26 from 3-7 p.m. Location: Christiansburg Recreation Center Parking Lot Admission: FREE

Additional Information: The Christiansburg Farmers Market features local farmers and vendors each Thursday. Seasonal pro duce, meats, eggs, plants, fresh baked goods, crafts, fresh flowers, and handmade jewelry are some of the items available for purchase. Items for purchase vary week-to-week. Check our Facebook page for details about weekly themes, prizes, vendors, and live music.

SPRING KICK-OFF FESTIVAL Dates/Times: Saturday, April 22 at 6-9pm Location: Recreation Center (outside) Admission: FREE

Additional Information: Join the party when the Town of Christiansburg hosts its Spring Kickoff Festival. PAR Mobile Golf will be at the event with their golf simulator, so come take your best swing! You’ll also have the chance to play giant pong and Connect Four, cornhole, and more while listening to a DJ. Local food trucks will be on hand to satisfy your food cravings! ALL ACTIVITIES AND GAMES ARE FREE! The event is recommended for 18 years old and up. Please bring your ID if you would like to purchase beer or wine. This is an outdoor event. A limited number of tables and chairs will be available. However, attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit around one of the bonfires and enjoy the evening.

ROCKIN’ MAIN CONCERT SERIES Dates/Times:

Saturday, May 13 from 5-9 p.m. with live performances by The Carolina Shreds and Miller Holler Saturday, June 10 from 5-9 p.m. with live performances by Travis Reigh and The Jared Stout Band Location: Main Street Admission: FREE

Additional Information: Rockin’ Main Concerts take place the second Saturday in May, June, September, and October. Come out and celebrate food and music in downtown Christiansburg! Rockin’ Main Concerts feature live performances by favorite local bands, as well as up and coming bands. Attendees can purchase yummy food and drinks from a selection of food trucks and wine and beer vendors. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the live performances. Concerts are rain or shine.

25 TH ANNUAL FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION Dates/Times: Tuesday, July 4 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Rain Date: Wednesday, July 5 (fireworks only) Location: Event is on Main Street; fireworks will be launched near the Christiansburg Huckleberry Park. Admission: FREE

Additional Information: Join us in downtown Christiansburg for our annual Fourth of July Celebration! This family-friendly event features live music, an array of food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, a kids’ zone, and more! Fireworks will start around 9:15 p.m. near the new Christiansburg Huckleberry Park. They can be viewed from the Uptown Mall or Walmart parking lots. If event is rained out, fireworks will be on July 5, with no downtown event.
