1996 Kimberly Walker Miller , of Bluefield, Virginia, passed away on April 6, 2021. She dedicated her professional life to Venco Business Solutions for 24 years. She established an All-star Cheer program where she coached alongside her daughter Lauren. She was in business with her husband at Rudy’s and she also volunteered at Historic Pocahontas Inc. 1997 Michael Andrew Dehart of Ripplemead, Virginia, passed away on June 6, 2020. He served in the marines and earned a BA from Bluefield College at age fifty. Scott Allen Gusler , of Bland, Virginia, passed away on April 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, James Andrew Gusler. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lovada Wright Gusler; his son, Trevor Gusler and his mother, April Hylton; his brother & sister-in-law, Mark & Sonya Gusler; his nephew, Colby Gusler; and several aunts, uncles and special friends, too many to list. 2002 Mary N. Wilson , of Grundy, Virginia, passed away on October 14, 2020. She was a true believer and a member of Vansant Baptist Church. Mother of Ruth Blankenship, Vice President for Administration & Finance at Bluefield University, Wilson achieved her lifelong dream and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Bluefield University at age sixty-four. The family asks kindly that donations in her memory be sent to the Ballard Hospice House, 280 Steeles Road, Bristol, Tennessee 37620 or to Bluefield University, 3000 College Avenue, Bluefield, VA 24605 for the Richard and Mary Wilson Scholarship Fund for Nursing. 2007 Deborah K. Worrell Padron, of Hillsville, Virginia, passed away May 31, 2016. 2017 Kenneth Edward Meadows, Jr., of Pulaski, Virginia, passed away on August 27, 2020.
1969 Rev. Harry Earle Arthur, Jr. , of Shady Spring, West Virginia, passed away on December 5, 2020. He served in the army right after college as a radio operator and Army Band member, later on he obtained the rank of Specialist 4 (E4). Earle received the National Defense Service Medal while stationed in Germany. Rev. Arthur also served God when in 2019 he began teaching Sunday School and witnessing to residents at Summers Nursing and Rehab Center. 1970 Donald W. Daugherty of Princeton, West Virginia, passed away on February 22, 2016. Northern Neck of Virginia, was a conservationist, an entrepreneur, the co-founder of Bay’s Best Seed, and a deacon at Smithland Baptist Church. 1979 Chester Randall Robinson , of Commerce, Texas, passed away on July 9, 2021. 1990 James M. "Jim" Worley, of Princeton, West Virginia, passed away October 25, 2018. He was the co-owner of Paragon, LLC, which owned and operated Heather Glen Mobile Home Park in Glenwood Park and Roundhouse Mobile Home Park in Princeton, West Virginia. Jim was a member of Advent Christian Church where he supported the Advent Church Campground known as "Camp Pocahontas." 1993 Glenda L. Justus Scott of Bland, Virginia, passed away July 6, 2020. She was a teacher in Wythe County Schools. Glenda was a long distance runner and church treasurer at Mechanicsburg Christian Church. 1996 Peggy Hutchinson Sutphin , of Rocky Gap, Virginia, passed away on March 27, 2021. Peggy was a charter member of Rocky Gap High School. She also worked at Bailey Lumber Company, The Bland Correctional Center, Co-founder and Chairwoman of the Wohlfarth Haus Dinner Theater in Wytheville, Virginia. William Henry “Billy” Dawson, Jr . of Heathsville, Virginia, passed away January 31, 2017. Billy, who farmed land in the
