Savor the Flavor
Zapraska a thickening sauce
A brown sauce 1 small onion – chopped 4 tbs. flour 4 tbs. salad oil
Stir flour into oil in a pan over medium heat. When mixed well, add onion and brown it in the mixture. The entire mixture will be light brown in color. This can be added to many dishes – such as soups, to thicken and add a little more flavor (beans, mushroom soup, cabbage soup, etc.) This sauce was always added to the dishes we served for Christmas Eve Holy Supper.

You may use this as you would normal cheese, spread it on toast, pizza or celery sticks. Use it on tacos, as a dip or in sandwiches, possibilities are endless.
