Coca-Cola Cake

Ingredients and instructions:

Blend the following ingredients very well.

1 1/2 cups of sugar 1/2 cup butter 2 squares of melted unsweetened chocolate 2 eggs

Mix dry ingredients and blend with the above:

1 3/4 cup of flour 1 tsp. soda 10 oz. of coke

Bake cake at 350 degrees in prepared sheet pan for 30 minutes.

Frosting as follows:

1 square of unsweetened chocolate 1 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of evaporated milk 1/4 cup of margarine 1 tsp. vanilla

Boil together for 1 minute. Beat until lukewarm. Spread on cake.

Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 6 eggs beaten 1 c. milk 2 tbs. butter melted 2 tbs. shortening Honey

Instructions: Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl or electric blender. Process for 30 seconds or until smooth. Chill batter for at least an hour. Grease two - 9 inch round cake pans with shortening. Heat cake pans to 450 degrees for 5 min. remove pans from oven; pour batter evenly into pans. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 min. reduce heat to 350 and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more or until lightly browned. Serve immediately with honey.
