Beef Strips (Shwarma) with Tahini Sauce
Ingredients: 2 lbs. Beef strips, (sirloin or tenderloin) cut about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. allspice 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 cup red wine or red wine vinegar 1/2 tsp. black pepper Onion Tomato Pita bread (optional for serving) Instructions: Combine beef, salt, allspice, black pepper, olive oil, and red wine (or vinegar) together in a large bowl, stir and cover for 3 hours or better yet overnight. Then place the above ingredients in a 9X13inch pan. Bake at 350 degree for 30 minutes. Stir several times. Add 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 tomato, diced in ½ inch pieces. Bake 30 minutes more OR until meat is tender. Serve with pita bread and tahini sauce.
Tahini sauce: 1/2 cup Tahini paste 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup water, more as necessary
Tahini Sauce: Instructions: Mix the tahini paste, salt, lemon juice and water until smooth. May add more water if necessary.

Salmon Ball
Ingredients: 1 (14 oz) can salmon picked clean 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. horseradish 1 tbs. lemon juice 2 tbs. chopped green onion
Instructions: Mix all ingredients thoroughly and form into a ball. Chill overnight and serve with crackers or pita bread wedges.
