OUR MISSION WHAT WE NEED

Saint Francis Service Dogs is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to help people with disabilities achieve their goals and have greater independence through partnership with exceptional service and facility dogs . Empowering and Transforming Lives for Three Decades The story of Saint Francis Service Dogs started small - with dreams, ideas, and plans made around the kitchen table of our founder, Carol Willoughby. Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Carol had experienced the life-changing impact of a service dog and wanted to make that a reality for more Saint Francis Service Dogs became one of the few service dog organizations in the world founded not by dog trainers, but by people with disabilities. The commitment we made then - to high-quality, individualized, relationship-based training for both our exceptional dogs and the extraordinary people we serve - remains at the heart of our work today.
