We, the Blythe Team , have been working together selling real estate since 2020 and married since 1999. David (MBA, GRI, ABR, e-Pro, CSP, C2EX) was born in Galax, VA and graduated from Galax High School in 1995, BS from Emory and Henry College in 1998, MS from Virginia Tech in 1999, and MBA at Villanova University in 2003. Venida was born in Abingdon, VA and graduated from Abingdon High School in 1996 and received her BS from Emory and Henry College in 1999. We met while attending Emory & Henry College and were married shortly before Venida’s graduation. David's career took us to Reading, PA for 12 years and to Northern VA for 4 years before moving to Dobson to manage the family farm in 2015. After many moves in 16 years, our family of 4 considers Dobson and the surrounding areas our forever home. We are active members of Stony Knoll UMC and have a daughter at Western Carolina University studying to be a large animal vet and is section leader of the cymbal line and a son at Surry Central HS who plays football, wrestling and track. David is the current President for the Surry Chapter of the Winston Salem Regional Association of Realtors. We are both licensed in North Carolina and David is also licensed in Virginia. Being Surry County transplants ourselves, we specialize in helping future transplants find their home here.
