j Jacqueline Transou is currently in her fifth year as a first-grade teacher at Ocean Drive Elementary in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Additionally, she has taught math and reading intervention in grades first through fifth. Jacqueline has her Master’s degree in Education in Language, Literacy, and Culture, with literacy being the main component. She has taught professional development sessions to Horry County Schools teachers and staff about technology and coding in the primary grade levels. She strongly advocates for the importance of learning to read and enjoying the reading experience.
