NATIONAL: National Director from 2023 to current; Co-Chair on the Communications Committee; Member of the Publications Committee 2023 and 2024; Ruritan Forever in 2021; Attended the 2023, 2024, 2025 National Conventions; Attended the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025Summer Leadership Conference. EDUCATION: High School Diploma from St. Stephens High School OCCUPATION: 23 Years at the City of Hickory in public service; West ern Southern Life Insurance for five years, selling insurance policies and doing estate planning; Worked at Jefferson Pilot Insurance Company as well. OTHER: Married to Nancy for 32 years; Have one son, both of whom are Ruritan members and serving in offices at the club, district, or na tional level; Member of the Hickory Aviation Museum; Work with a local car show group and Ruritan-owned fairground in Burke County, NC.
