Ruritan District/Area Governors District governors and area governors are the chief elected officers in each of the Ruritan districts or areas. These officers serve as the coordinator of all activities within the district or area. These officers assume their official duties as of January 1 and have the responsibility to serve and retain existing clubs as well as to expand Ruritan by organizing new clubs.
