Shelley was born and raised in Alleghany County. She is a graduate of Alleghany High School, Elon University and Western Carolina University. She resides in Alleghany County but is currently a Physical Education and Health teacher and volleyball coach at Central Middle School in Dobson, NC. She has over 20 years of teaching and

coaching experience that assists her in being a great communicator and problem solver. She loves helping people reach their goals. Shelley loves spending time with her family. She has 2 sons, Garrett and Logan and wonderful husband, Ryan and the best dog Harley! If she is not working at one of her jobs, you can find her cheering on Garrett on the football field or basketball court or coaching Logan in little league baseball for the Salem Fork Giants. Shelley enjoys kayaking the New River, swimming and camping or playing kickball in the back yard. Her love for the North Carolina mountains and the surrounding area will help her assist families in finding the perfect home and she is so excited to help them find the home of their dreams.
