Maggie first joined our team in 2001 as a high school intern and returned to us in 2016 as a full time real estate broker. She is licensed in both North Carolina and Virginia. She was the 2018 REALTOR® of the Year for Surry Regional Association of REALTORS® and has served as Director and Treasurer for SRAR executive board. Maggie

grew up in Surry County where she attended Surry Central High School and Surry Community College. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Interior Design and worked as the lead interior designer for a renovation company in Blowing Rock, NC where she designed residential kitchens and baths, restaurants and resort cabins. Maggie returned to Surry County in 2012 and began teaching Family and Consumer Science at Piney Grove Middle School in Stokes County. She was the 2015 PGMS Teacher of the Year. She currently resides in King, NC with her Goldendoodle, Finley and they can most often be found traveling and hiking around the Western NC Mountains!

Barker is a native of Mt. Airy. He graduated from Mt. Airy High School and lived in Surry County for 17 years. He now resides in Carroll County, VA. Barker has been in Real Estate sales in Virginia and is now expanding back to his hometown. He is licensed in both North Carolina and Virginia. He is a member of Paul’s Creek Baptist Church in Cana. Barker’s wife, Gina is a nurse at Northern Regional Hospital. They have two sons, Joseph and Joshua.
