David Oliver Wright also had red hair. Willie ’s wife, Macie Spangler Wright, died in 1922. He never remarried and lived alone thereafter. He lived adjacent to our farm and was considered part of the family. A small boarded house was his dwelling. It was located on a small hill close to Route 608. I now own the property that he farmed. His house burnt after he was no longer living there. He was a unique person in that he lived his life in the manner that he enjoyed. He had few possessions but one that he cherished were the Jennie and Jack donkeys he raised. To me they were ugly creatures as
