She is also in her third and final year of doctoral studies at Clemson University in the Literacy, Language, and Culture PhD program. Rachael is a former classroom teacher with experience in kindergarten and second grade. Rachael’s research interests include social justice and diversity, read- aloud experiences, and teacher decision-making. Hubbard is a doctoral student in literacy, language and culture, specializing in early literacy development.
