ABOUT Obis One LLC is the leading producer of certified organic black garlic in the U.S. Located at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg, VA, this family-owned business is centered on innovation, having developed 13 original black garlic products in under 5 years. Owner and founder Patrick W. Lloyd, Ph.D. and Lisa Lloyd developed an extension of black garlic use when he invented Black Crack®. Pure cracked black garlic, the product was named top 100 Best Condiment by Saveur Magazine. It has become a launchpad for various other products over the past few years.

 
