Hello VDOT family -

We at Pillar are excited to have this contract for a third time in a row and look forward to continuing our relationship with VDOT. We are pleased our teammates Bowman, JMT, and RK&K join us again. Together, we form a talented team with extensive maintenance and design experience.

This contract was established so VDOT can call on experienced firms for:  Maintenance Contract Development  Maintenance Management Services  Maintenance Development Services

Pillar’s core business is operations and maintenance consulting in these three areas. Over the past two contracts covering the previous nine and a half years, we have developed a trusted partnership with VDOT by bringing maintenance consulting and staff augmentation services in eight of the nine VDOT districts with over 96 task orders completed throughout the Commonwealth. As in the past, our goal is to continue to be a trusted partner with whomVDOT knows, trusts, and can count on to deliver the requested services in a seamless, effective, and timely manner. We are here to help you meet and overcome any and all or your needs. We will approach this contract as a partnership, contributing our collective experience while mirroring the mission, values, and ethics governing VDOT. Maintenance support services Roadway asset collection and condition analysis Roadway and roadside inspection and monitoring services Expert advice on business and policy decisions related to the quality assurance and procedures Project management, administrative support, and staffing Research and draft requests for information and proposals, providing cost analysis, and developing various contract report analysis authorized by law Expert advice on business and policy decisions related to maintenance contracts and best practices Develop performance specifications policies and supporting VDOT in drafting proposed legislation or revised administrative procedures, developing functional requirements, quality management, providing cost analyses and developing reports that are consistent with the latest industry best practices Compliance inspections, reviews, audits, and studies Advise with Erosion & Sediment Control issues Inventory collection Assist in industry meetings, report writing, and analysis of any related business needs of the Department.
