Patrick County offers a simple life, unhurried and rich in the traditions and friendliness of mountain communities. The county is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and our guests can stay at various B&Bs, cabins, campgrounds, resorts and motels. Patrick County is rich in historical attractions which include our antebellum courthouse, The Reynolds Homestead, Laurel Hill- the birthplace of General J. E. B. Stuart, Jack's Creek Covered Bridge and the site of the Bob White Covered Bridge. The Strawberry Festival, Peach Festival, Apple Dumpling Festival, the Faery Festival and the four day Front Porch Festival are some of the festivals to be enjoyed in the county.
