3-Strikes Technology Consequences • Strike 1 – If a student violates the technology policy, and refuses after one verbal warning to comply, the student will receive one strike from the teacher. • Strike 2 – If the student refuses to follow the technology policy after the first strike and another verbal warning, the student will be required to place the technology in the classroom storage area. • Strike 3 – Upon receiving a third strike, the teacher will collect the student's technology and turn it into the Principal’s Office. Students refusing to follow the technology policy and who are habitual offenders of the policy may be referred to the principal's office for defiance, disrespect, and/or disruption and may lose the privilege to use or carry technology in the academic building.
