Oak Hill Academy is committed to helping students use these technologies in responsible and ethical ways. This policy outlines simple guidelines to ensure that AI is used to support learning – not replace it – and that its use reflects Oak Hill’s values of honesty, integrity, and respect. By following this policy, we aim to prepare our community for a future where AI is a helpful and appropriate part of academic life. • Use Responsibly – Students and staff must use AI tools ethically and appropriately, respecting school rules and academic integrity. • No Cheating – AI may not be used to complete assignments, tests, or projects in place of a student’s own work unless specifically allowed by a teacher. • Be Transparent – Always disclose when AI has been used in academic work, including writing, research, or project support. Faculty may require the assignment to be redone or grade accordingly if AI was prohibited in the assignment. • Protect Privacy – Do not share personal, sensitive, or private information – your own or others’ -- when using AI tools.
