FastForward Program

Six Sigma - Yellow Belt

NRCC offers an 8-week course leading to Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. Content is aimed at those new to the world of Six Sigma who have a role, interest or need to develop foundational knowledge. The course can be especially valuable for entry-level employees who seek to improve their knowledge base. It can also prove useful to executive champions desiring an overview of Six Sigma and the define, measure, analyze, improve and control model (DMAIC). The Train-and-Do process utilizes classroom activities, combining lecture and simulation exercises.

Society For Human Resource Management (SHRM)

NRCC’s FastForward Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certification Preparation Course will broaden and update the students’ knowledge and skills while delivering everything needed to pass the SHRM-CP exam, all in an interactive “live” virtual class environment. With NRCC’s course, the student will receive the SHRM Learning System and an exam voucher which offers personalized learning that dynamically adjusts to learning style. Students must meet specific educational and work experience to submit their application to take the SHRM-CP exam. Solar Installation Technician

Solar technician is a fast-growing career path. Students in this program will gain hands-on experience in a specially designed solar training lab intended to simulate true-to-life conditions in the field. Those who complete the program will be trained to assemble, set up, and maintain solar systems that convert sunlight into energy. Program completers will earn the Solar Hands On Installation Network of Excellence (SHINE) credential upon completion of class. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training is included in the course cost.
