Project FOCUS 3 - 4 p.m. MeadowView Ballroom A George Brothers, Dennis Bagnell, Ron Reid, Cassandra Flanagan, Roger Davis Funding Our Communities Under Stress Project FOCUS is a new 501(c)(3) created by the Ruritan Board of Directors for humanitarian aid and disaster relief in our communities. We will address: Why and how it was formed, when and how it will be implemented, what it means to your club and the communities you serve, who will be the recipients of relief and how the relief will be provided, and how you can support Project FOCUS. History of Ruritan 3 - 4 p.m. MeadowView Ballroom B Past Presidents Sometimes you need to know where you came from before you can move forward. This workshop will give you the opportunity to hear from and discuss with Ruritan past Presidents the journey of Ruritan. In this round table type setting, we will look at our past to our present. Come and enjoy this discussion. Planning Purposeful Projects 3 - 4 p.m. Join us for a panel discussion of the who, what, where, when and why of projects. We will explore creating a community needs survey and how to use that information to create projects that will have a positive impact on your local community. Come prepared to share your favorite projects and how you fund them. Moving Forward as One Team 3 - 4 p.m. Holston/Watauga Zack McCallie In this workshop, you will find out ideas on how to get your club working as one solid unit. How to work as a team to achieve success. No one part is greater than another. Come find out ways to reach that promised land that we all strive for.
