The default Node Template in a BDD shows Operations and Receptions, these are attributes on the Component Property page and are defined as follows: • Operations – synchronous interactions where the requester waits for the request to be handled (captured as a new “operations” attribute on ImplementationUnit which, for consistency, should also be reflected in the set of functions

allocated to this component). • Receptions – asynchronous

behaviors where the requestor can continue without waiting for a reply (captured as a new “receptions” attribute on ImplementationUnit).
