Adding Our First Exchange

The toolbox has access to the common ‘building blocks’ plus all entities from across the model. 1. Select the Key Entities folder (third icon) to access important entities for this diagram 2. In the classes list, select Item 3. In the entities list, right ‐ click and select New Entity to create a new Item (or double ‐ click Item in the class list) 4. Name the new Item “requests” 5. Drag ‐ drop “requests” on to “Customer Connection” 6. Select transferred by from the pop ‐ up Dragging one entity on to another relates the entities. GENESYS prompts you with the possible relationships to choose from.

Resizing the Label to See the Exchange 1. Click on “Customer Connection” to select the label 2. Use the resizing handles to size the label as desired in order to see the exchange
