Assigning Project Unique Identifiers (PUID’s) Requirements and other project information are often referenced by a unique identifier (UID). The PUID wizard can set these identifiers. 1. Select the Project ribbon 2. Select PUID Wizard

The wizard allows you to select the desired classes and then will set PUID’s for those entities currently without identifiers These identifiers are often included in reports to support reference and traceability
