behavior constructs and simulation 1. In the project explorer panel, select “Home” 2. Select “New Project” 3. Name the new project “Simulation Examples” 4. Click OK

Opening an Activity Diagram of “_Perform System Context Functions”

We will use the activity diagram to build and simulate the various constructs (you could use the EFFBD, if preferred) 1. Select Function in the project explorer panel 2. Select “_Perform System Context Functions” in the browser panel 3. Select Views ribbon 4. Click Activity to open the activity diagram as a separate window Later we will open the simulator and view the diagram and simulation side ‐ by ‐ side. To maximize screen space, we are choosing to open the activity diagram as a separate window.
