Creating a New Requirement from the Concern’s Decision The decision reflects a new Requirement and must be appropriately captured 1. Copy the Concern ’s Decision to serve as

the Description for the Requirement 2. Double ‐ click the target “Acceptable Media of Requests” to open its property sheet 3. Paste the copied Decision into the Description field 4. Set the Origin to “Design Decision” 5. Enter the Rationale (this can be copied from the Concern ) Requirements resulting from Concerns are considered Design Decisions and should always have an explicit Rationale to capture the design history
