Defining the Filter

Entities can be filtered on a combination of • attributes • properties • number of targets for a relationship • diagnostic errors 1. Set filter Type to “Attribute” 2. Set Field to “type” 3. Set Operator to “Equal” 4. Set Value to “Composite” (case -sensitive) Resulting filter will display only those Requirements where the type = “Composite”

Applying our Filter to Requirements

1. Select the Requirement class from the project explorer panel 2. Select “Composite Requirements” from the Filter drop-down Setting a filter changes the background color in the browser panel so that you can quickly see that the list is being filtered 3. Select “All Entities” from the Filter drop down to see all Requirements
