Performance requirements specify behavior. Assign performance requirements to the system root function by using the specifies relationship. The GENESYS model assistant automatically created a root function as a container for system behavior when we created the Component “Geospatial Library” (a system ‘is’ and a system ‘does’) 1. Select Requirement “Provide Feedback” and double-click the specifies relationship 2. Select the Function “_Perform Geospatial Library Functions”, click Add , and click Close

Requirements and other project information are often referenced by a unique identified (UID). The PUID wizard can set these identifiers. 1. Select the Project ribbon 2. Select PUID Wizard The wizard allows you to select the desired classes and then will set PUID’s for those entities currently without identifiers These identifiers are often included in reports to support reference and traceability
