b) Enter the Decision c) Enter the Rationale d) Set the Date Closed to today (on the Secondary tab) 2. Double-click results in relationship to create a new Requirement reflecting this decision 3. Name the new Requirement “Acceptable Media of Requests” 4. Close the target window

Creating a New Requirement from the Concern’s Decision The decision reflects a new Requirement

and must be appropriately captured 1. Double- click the target “Acceptable Media of Requests” to open its property sheet 2. Copy the Concern ’s Decision to serve as the Description for the Requirement 3. Paste the copied Decision into the Description field 4. Set the Origin to “Design Decision” 5. Enter the Rationale (this can be copied from the Concern ) Requirements resulting from Concerns are considered Design Decisions and should always have an explicit Rationale to capture the design history
