Parsing the Document

1. Click Parse Document toolbar button This will identify – but not create – elements based upon the document. We will have the opportunity to review and edit elements before creating them in the specified class/folder Statements that include any of the specified keywords will be treated as Requirements All other content will be loaded but will be treated as “debris” (content that doesn’t match your request but should be reviewed)

Reviewing the Parsing Results and Creating Elements The table view populates with the results of the parsing activity allowing you to review – and even edit – before creating elements Requirements (paragraphs and sentences where a key word appeared) are marked with a check mark. Debris items are not. From the Parser menu, you have the option to Create All Elements (recommended) or simply to Create Requirements 1. Click Create All Elements toolbar button 2. Close the parser
