Viewing Thread 1 as a Sequence Diagram To visualize the thread as a sequence diagram, we need to allocate Functions (assign them to lifelines). This can be done here or on the sequence diagram. 1. Click on the “All Entities” tab on the diagram palette 2. Select Component in the classes list 3. Drag- drop “Customers” on the Functions

on the top branch and select performs 4. Drag- drop “Geospatial Library” on the Functions on the bottom branch and select performs Nodes can be drag-dropped from the diagram on to an element in a list. You can drag Functions from the diagram on to the Components in the list for allocation.
