Assigning Project Unique Identifiers (PUID’s) Requirements and other project information are often referenced by a unique identified (UID). A script can set the PUID for newly created elements.

1. Click the Run Script toolbar button 2. Select “Assign Documentation PUIDs” 3. Set the prefix to “GL” 4. Click Add All 5. Click OK The wizard allows you to select the desired classes and then will set PUID’s for those elements currently without identifiers These identifiers are often included in reports to support reference and traceability
