 Dr. Brittany Adams is an assistant professor of Literacy Education at SUNY Cortland in central New York, where she teaches reading and literacy courses to pre- and in-service teachers across educational contexts. Her research interests include critical literacies, children's and young adult literature, disciplinary literacies, and new literacies. Her work has been published in the Journal of Literacy Research; The Reading Teacher; Literacy Research and Instruction, and Literacy Research: Theory, Method, and Practice.
