Utilizing seven experienced resources we can provide the right people for the job at hand. Our service personnel average 17 years of experience. Final commissioning is the most common request but we can also provide start to finish supervision as well as assistance with refurbishment and upgrades. Field service is also included with all EHV orders. When final commissioning is required, a field service technician is typically on site for one or two days. Installation of the switches should be complete with all bus connected. Each switch is visually inspected for proper assembly and alignment. The switch is then operated to assure that the switch and accessories are operating properly. Minor adjustments are made, if necessary, based on the operating characteristics of the switch. In addition to final commissioning a service technician can be onsite during the erection, assembly and adjustment stages. This alternative provides guidance during the complete installation process eliminating potential false starts as well as providing training to crews that may be unfamiliar with Pascor Atlantic products. Refurbishment and upgrades to switches are a common practice with many utilities. Our service technicians provide invaluable knowledge and training to assure that this work is performed properly. EHV substations are a critical portion of the power grid and can be difficult to schedule an outage once the substation is energized. To assure that switches are installed properly Pascor Atlantic offers field service as part of every order. Taking advantage of this service will ensure that the switches will operate as intended.
