Pre-defined Parameters

A predefined parameter set is available for some classes, such as, Component, Function, Link, Requirement, and Verification Requirement.

The list varies based on the Class selected. - User can choose to pick on of the pre-defined parameters - Or, create new parameters Parameters are accessible for all entities of the Class; the value of the parameter is set when it is associated with a specific entity.

Add Parameter Values

Selecting a Parameter and placing it in the “Existing Parameter” frame (see prior slide) will add the parameter to the Parameter Tab. On the Parameter Tab the user can enter the value and units for the parameter. Then you can add the parameter to the description of the entity… (see the next slide).
