Why Do MBSE

• MBSE enables the systems engineer to: • Cope with complexity • Avoid omissions • Avoid invalid assumptions • Integrated consistency and completeness checks • Traceability to identify potential impact of change

• Automatic, integrated document and view generation (specifications and design documents, diagrams [including SysML], ad-hoc reports) • Information exists exactly once and referenced many times • Expose entire design model to all stakeholders Allow SE’s to deal with large volumes of data, quickly and efficiently.
